Visiting Lecture: Praktek Membuat Permainan untuk Mengembangkan Sensori Motor Anak

Dosen tetap sekaligus ketua Program Studi Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini (PIAUD) STAI Muafi Sampang, Uswatun Hasanah, S.Psi., M.Si, menjadi narasumber Visiting Lecture dengan tema Praktek Mengembangkan Kemampuan Sensori Motor Anak melalui Permainan di IAI al-Qolam Malang (11/01). Kegiatan ini merupakan bentuk komitmen kerjasama antara Prodi PIAUD STAI Muafi dengan Prodi PIAUD IAI al-Qolam Malang.

Visiting Lecture yang dihadiri oleh mahasiswa PIAUD semester satu itu diadakan di gedung Audiotorium. Selain memaparkan prinsip-prinsip pembuatan kegiatan permainan yang harus diperhatikan untuk mengembangkan potensi sensori motor anak, narasumber juga mengajak peserta untuk praktek membuat kegiatan bermain di akhir sesi. Menurut narasumber, permainan seharusnya dirancang dengan memperhatikan keamanan anak, memiliki peraturan yang jelas, dan dirancang sesuai dengan kemampuan usia tumbuh kembang anak. “Misalnya anak usia 2 tahun, sebelum diminta bermain menggunakan pensil atau alat yang berukuran kecil, sebaiknya kita mengajak mereka bermain menggunakan alat yang ukurannya lebih besar. Misalnya, spidol atau crayon. Intinya menggunakan alat yang mudah digenggam oleh anak.” Imbuhnya.

Selain Visiting Lecture, kedua Prodi bersepakat kedepannya untuk bersama mengadakan kegiatan lain di bidang pendidikan. “Kami siap bekerjasama. Misal bulan depan kita mengadakan seminar pendidikan. Kami siap akan mendelegasikan salah satu dosen kami sebagai pemateri.” Tutur Norma Ita Sholichah, M.Pd., ketua Prodi PIAUD IAI al-Qolam Malang.
